Welcome to Contest Central!

This is the place to enter the 2010 Utah Headliners/SPJ Journalism Awards as well as the Utah News Photographers Association’s 11th Annual Photojournalism Competition. You can now submit your entries digitally on this site, giving you full control over how they appear to our illustrious judges. You can add, refine, or delete your entries from now until the final deadline (for both contests) at 11:59pm, Friday Feburary 26, 2010. Tutorials, screencasts, and all contest rules are always accessible from the Help & Tutorials drop-down menu at the top right of our site.

Here are the steps for entering both contests:

1. REGISTER, using the registration form at the bottom of this page – Registration and How-To Videos.

2. Fill out your PROFILE INFORMATION (full name and affiliation are required).

3. REVIEW RULES and categories (SPJ Info – UNPA Info)

4. ENTER your work
How To Screencasts – Other How To’s: Prepare Your Photographs – Singles Photo Categories – Photographer of the Year/Best Photographer – Photo Essays – Multimedia – Video/Television/Videography

5. Send in your ENTRY FEE (or use PayPal for SPJ fees) – SPJ Info – UNPA Info

6. From now until the deadline, your entries will remain fully editable by you. If you change your mind, you can re-arrange, delete, add new entries, etc.
